The Honey Crunch Roll is phenomenal, honey walnuts, crab meat and tempura shrimp with a house sauce. We chose a booth, counter seating is also available. “ I was very happy with the sushi here. I came in with a big party, and we were seated quickly, and we're served immediately. The food did not take long to get to us, and it was pretty good, too. The best part about Shiki is the service. They are all so nice and friendly and really help you to feel welcome. Inside the decor is quite beautiful and the tables are striking, they are decorated with classic Japanese art depicting battles or fishing trips. I just had a great meal and time overall here. Parking is easy, too. ”
“ In the area and craving sushi. Overall good experience. The restaurant was busy and customers were happy. We ordered the Lion King sushi, the unagi roll (bbq eel rolled like a cone), udon noodles with chicken. The food had some amazing flavors. The noodles were tender and delicious. I asked for some hot seasoning and was given a small bottle with some kind of seasoning salt which was nice and spicy, the Lion king sushi pieces were larger than expected, and the unagi cone was good but different. The restaurant had some cool vibes. ”
“ Half Moon Bay has an amazing assortment of little restaurants for such a tiny town. Shiki is a new favorite of mine. The Red Evil roll we had as an appetizer was fabulous and fresh. I had the luncheon Bento box and it exceeded expectations. The service was friendly and distracted (it was the lunch rush). She got the orders out quickly and accurately. We all loved our servings. The ambiance is only enhanced by being in my favorite beach town on the peninsula. ”
